On April 6, 2010, patrons of the Smithville R-II School District will have an opportunity to vote on an estimated
$8,700,000 No Tax-Rate Increase bond issue that would fund a performing arts center and a variety of improvements at
Smithville High School.
The Smithville R-II School District has earned "Distinction in
Performance for High Achievement," the highest level of accreditation available to Missouri School districts.
High Performing Students - Smithville students traditionally perform well above
state and national averages on standardized achievement and college entrance exams.
